Found this site AmericanPassport.com - where you (as an American citizen) can order a passport online. My first thought was how are they going to prove who you are, binaries is rather easily forged (if you have the proper knowledge that is)…
Then I looked a bit further in the application part, well - it’s not as online as it seems. You have to print out a bunch of documents, sign and send them back and some of those has to be hand carried to an acceptance agent. You get the drift.
Why not just go to the local one and get a passport in hand for a couple of bucks?
In Sweden, you just go to a licensed photographer, take a photo, sign your name and glue the photo to a speical form and mail it in, identification is done by a birth certificate and that you identify yourself with a valid ID (or have somebody with you that can vouch for you) to the cashier at the post office. That’s it.
That’s what my son calls a swing. We have a kindergarten a couple of block from our house where we go to have a swinging party (what a pun), but I’ve been looking at different swing sets, I’ve found a couple of cheap ones here in Sweden - and they’re starting at 600SEK (~$100).
Tricky part is that we’re part of the EU, and even though they have a ship load of silly rules (like bananas have to have a certain degree of “bend” to be called banana) - they have some really good safety regulation on children’s toys. But that usually means that the price doubles…
Well, just another month of saving (I’m doing this undercover, and it’s hard to swig money without the wife noticing).
I’m nearing the (prominent) age of 35 and I still get these zit blooms like a 13 year old! Man, one would think that at the age of 30+ acne would be a faint memory of the past…
Luckily it’s just at the corners of my mouth, and not very big ones. I’ve been thinking about different acne treatments, but I think soap’s the best answer for me.
It’s a lot cheaper than the different elixirs on the markets, and well - it works…
