I once heard that you should never excuse yourself, so I won’t. I’m just going to say that I’ve been down with a fever and cold for a week.
When I say down I really mean it, I’ve never been so sick in my life! Only thing worse is that I got it from my son, and he’s been even worse than me. If I may say it’s been “lucky” since I have not been much of a father, but with Helge having fever we’ve both long days in the sofa in front of the TV, taking turns in napping, changing DVD and begging the wife to come with more juice.
Coolest thing is that Helge despite being just 2½ can change DVD and use the remote himself, he just needs some help when language defaults doesn’t work, he likes he’s movies dubbed to Swedish.
Is expensive equipment worth? Everywhere you turn you have the cheap stuff and the expensive stuff, wether it be screw drivers, golf clubs or pool cues…
But is a $1040 Viking G-85 really that much better than $250 Dufferin D-50 - or do you have to be Efren Reyes to notice the difference? I know that I wouldn’t… how about you?
One thing that I do know about pool sticks is that the two-piece ones generally is better than the budget single-piece ones, I’m not a good pool player - i don’t have the patience, but I went to high school
The sticks that the school had bought, you know the as-many-you-can-get-for-as-little-as-possible theorem most institutions use… it didn’t take long for them to get crooked–luckily I had a friend that borrowed me hes cue. Man, between the skewed onces and he’s two-piece… it was like night and day.
Sadly we don’t have a single (public) pool table in this town, I know I’d like to play more… even though I don’t have the patience to get good at it.
Trying to figure out how to use mod_vhost_alias at the moment, I host a couple of domains on my slicehost account, not that it’s a problem with the organizing at the moment… but I like when it’s expandable.
In my experience I’ve found that it’s easy gets out of hand if you don’t think big from the beginning.
When I’m done with it, I’ll post a tutorial/walk-through on how I did it - probably not the best way to do it, but it’ll work.
Update:
As you can see it’s working, had some hitches though - user errors, like forgetting to turn off the old configurations.
It’s a bit messy at the moment, but after I’ve done a clean-up I’ll post on how you do it.
