My baby isn’t a baby any more

I’ve been looking at Polkadot Patch’s baby clothes for a while, thinking about importing a couple of them.

I thought for too long, my son’s too big now to fit in the "toddler" stuff. Even though he’s only 2½ years old, he’s as big as I were when I was 4!

As a sidenote I can tell you that it can be interesting to try and convert European children’s clothe sizes to American - especially when the child in question is about twice the size he’s supposed to be.

Up, down, up, down

That’s what my son calls a swing. We have a kindergarten a couple of block from our house where we go to have a swinging party (what a pun), but I’ve been looking at different swing sets, I’ve found a couple of cheap ones here in Sweden - and they’re starting at 600SEK (~$100).

Tricky part is that we’re part of the EU, and even though they have a ship load of silly rules (like bananas have to have a certain degree of “bend” to be called banana) - they have some really good safety regulation on children’s toys. But that usually means that the price doubles…

Well, just another month of saving (I’m doing this undercover, and it’s hard to swig money without the wife noticing).

Polkadot Patch

Found this baby gifts store called Polkadot Patch.

They’ve got the cutest clothes and gifts, ranging from toddler to 4T. I hope that the shipping isn’t that steep, as usual it’s based in USA, and they have a range of clothes that you can’t get here in Sweden - not without getting broke anyways.

I would have included some links and an image or two of their goods, but they have this silly “copyright script” that disables right clicking. I do understand copyright laws etc. but if you’re trying to review a site it’s nice to show their goods.

But if you visit them have a look at “Robin’s Hoods Blue Monster Hat” - I just love that one…
