If you like me is married? Sprung a child or two? Perhaps a couple of dogs or cats? Chances is that - if you’re not living “down town” - you’re owning your own house, and that fellows is the “famous black hole”.
Never ever, I repeat, never ever buy a house if you want to be able to save up for fun (ie. a holiday trip, a second car, separate fridge for your beer etc.). I have a wad of notes with things that I’d like to buy, not necessary life-savingly important stuff, but non the less - stuff that I would like to own.
Just a silly thing like a new set with teak outdoor furniture, or perhaps a laptop… guess which one of these that I won’t buy in a foreseeing future.
